Why I should have been a scientist...

I could totally come up with great names for ancient bowling ball sized frogs. I have to give it to the guys who named this giant frog Beelzebufo, it's a great name. That's Devil Frog to those of you not down with your biblical science speak.

Some other names I'd put on the table:

1. Hoppopatamus
2. The Giant Frog Monster
3. Hippity Hog
4. Fred Thompson

See, I was meant for this.

Poor Fred, always getting mocked for the waddle.

That frog does have the facial expressions of Fred Dalton.

Hoppopotamus is brilliant. I'd vote for that one. Let's start a petition to replace Beelzebufo.

I wonder if scientist frogs back in ancient times were always researching frog obesity and trying to figure out whether diet and exercise played a role in these frogs' tremendous girth.
